Scottish Autism in Alloa Launches New Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Alloa-based charity, Scottish Autism (SA), on the launch of its new campaign to highlight the positive impact of its work on the lives of those with the condition; understands that the campaign, Valued and Autistic, aims to demonstrate that autistic people have something valuable to teach society, and showcases how SA strives to ensure that their skills, talents and aspirations are realised; notes that the campaign features a range of videos, which are available to watch online and were created by Iceberg Productions, a group of filmmakers with autism; further notes that the campaign was officially launched at the St Enoch Centre in Glasgow on 1 April 2019 and that it coincides with the start of Autism Awareness Month, which runs throughout April, and wishes everyone concerned with the campaign all the very best for its success.
