Hibernian Community Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Hibernian Community Foundation on receiving £148,500 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will use the funding to deliver a three-year programme aimed at reducing social isolation among older people in Edinburgh; notes that the programme will include drop-in sessions, themed workshops, a holiday club, volunteering opportunities and mentoring activities; commends the project, which will work with 384 people and involve 48 volunteers, and wishes everyone involved well.
