North Glasgow Community Food Initiative
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates North Glasgow Community Food Initiative on receiving a £134,632 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands the group will deliver a range of community activities to people living in Milton to help reduce social isolation, strengthen community connections and create opportunities for learning new skills; notes that activities will include gardening, cooking, community meals, a fruit and vegetable barra, a community café and community events, and acknowledges that, over three years, the project will reach over 1,300 people and involve more than 60 volunteers.
