Connect Community Trust Ltd
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Connect Community Trust Ltd, in the Wellhouse area of Easterhouse, on securing a £114,732 award from the Scottish Land Fund; notes that it plans to purchase the HubSports building, which it has been leasing from Glasgow City Council for more than a decade; further notes that the trust has operated in the Wellhouse area for 16 years and has provided support for local people to make life changes and to change perceptions of the area, and acknowledges that this has included the introduction of easily accessible services and activities that address education, employment, personal finances, childcare and health issues and tackle anti-social behaviour.
