Dundee Sports Clubs Receive Funding
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the award of more than £75,000 to three Dundee sports clubs as part of National Lottery funding of sportscotland’s Direct Club Investment (DCI); understands that Ice Dundee, Dundee Madsons Basketball Club and Dundee West Football Club will receive between £16,000 and £30,000 to support their ambitious development plans; notes that funding is awarded to clubs that demonstrate their commitment to providing access to sport for people of all ages and abilities, and understands that sportscotland is investing in implementing a world-class sporting system at every level in Scotland that aspires to changing lives in local communities.
