Dr John Connolly Awarded Professorship

That the Parliament congratulates Dr John Connolly, who is from Dumbarton, on being made a professor of public policy by the University of West of Scotland (UWS); understands that John is the first person in his family to get a degree and, at just 35, is one of the youngest professors in Scotland; notes that he carries out research in public sector reform, policy analysis, multi-level governance, crisis management and health security governance; acknowledges that, alongside his work at UWS, John is also a visiting professor at the Metropolitan State University in Minnesota and is an associate editor of the journal, Contemporary Social Science, and wishes him continued success in his academic career.
