TV Gardening Legend, Jim McColl
The motion
That the Parliament notes the retirement of the TV gardening legend, Jim McColl; celebrates his work with BBC Scotland’s Beechgrove Garden; congratulates him on his retirement after half a lifetime of service to Beechgrove’s loyal viewers; acknowledges his genuine passion in communicating his knowledge of gardening in a way that engages people at all levels of gardening; thanks him for his hard work; wishes him a long and happy retirement, and reminds him that every day is a school day.
