Golden Jubilee Foundation Healthy Working Lives Gold Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Golden Jubilee Foundation on winning the Healthy Working Lives gold award for the eighth year in a row; understands that the award recognises organisations that prioritise workplace health by helping staff lead healthier lives, reduce work-related illness and absence rates and contribute to the overall health of the community; notes that the Golden Jubilee Foundation's occupational health department offers confidential advice to staff on their physical, mental and social wellbeing, as well as providing pre-employment screening and immunisation; considers that employees also benefit from the availability of blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose monitoring, as well as programmes to raise awareness of key topics such as fitness, cancer, mental health and stress; recognises what it considers the effort, engagement and commitment to good health across the organisation, and wishes the staff and management well.
