Meg Wishart Wins English Speaking Union National Public Speaking Competition
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Broxburn Academy pupil, Meg Wishart, on winning the English Speaking Union National Public Speaking Competition; understands that the competition is open to all S4 to S6 pupils across Scotland; notes that Meg’s winning speech focused on climate change and individual behaviour and was described by one of the judges as a public speaking masterclass; wishes Meg every success for her future, and hopes that she continues developing and sharing her talent for public speaking.
