Police Scotland Youth Volunteers Clydebank
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers (PSYV) from Clydebank whose contribution and commitment to the local community was recognised at a ceremony in Clydebank High School, which was attended by a sizeable audience; notes that the occasion saw young people passing out from the PSYV initial training programme, which was designed to provide all young volunteers with the basic knowledge required to volunteer in their communities, as well as individual awards presented for leadership, commitment and the most hours worked; understands that, in addition, others received Saltire awards, the Scottish Government’s way of celebrating, recognising and rewarding young volunteers, and commends all young volunteers for their dedication and hard work in their communities.
