Auchmuty High School Pupils Raise £250 for the Team Jak Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the pupils at Auchmuty High School who are studying the National 5 Retail course on raising £250 for the Team Jak Foundation, which is a charity that provides practical and emotional support to children and young people with cancer and related illnesses, their families, friends and those bereaved; understands that the money was raised through a number of pop-up businesses that the 32 students helped establish and run, with names such as the Waffle and Pancake House, Cookie Dough, the Cinema Snack-Shack and the Smoothie Stand, as well as the Easter Hop-up, which was a chocolate Easter bunny-themed business that served candy floss and brownies, and wishes the pupils continued success with their fundraising, studies and other efforts.
