The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the newly produced resource from the Children and Young People's Commissioner Scotland, which features the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) translated to Gaelic; understands that this was launched on UN International Mother Language Day and contains the full text of the UNCRC in clear language, which includes symbols to present the information in an accessible way for younger children or those with additional support needs, and commends the commissioner on what it sees as a progressive and inclusive step that reflects the importance of the Gaelic language and its use across both the Glasgow Kelvin constituency and Scotland.
