A Good Breakfast is the Start of a Good Day
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton in Aberdeen for its donation in support of Bridge of Don Academy’s breakfast club; understands that children who eat breakfast tend to eat healthier overall and are more likely to participate in physical activities; notes that skipping breakfast can make children feel tired, restless or irritable; appreciates the positive impact that breakfast clubs can have on pupil concentration, attention and social development; acknowledges that the breakfast club aims to eradicate pupil hunger, and celebrates the vital role played by community partnerships between local businesses and schools.
