Photographer of the Year, Jeff Mitchell
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jeff Mitchell on winning the Scottish Press Award for Photographer of the Year; appreciates the value of his contributions to photography, from his beginnings in local newspapers to photographing the refugee crisis in Europe and the Euromaidan protests in Ukraine; notes that Jeff follows in the footsteps of his father, David Mitchell, a well-known photographer from Balloch, and wishes Jeff all the best in his future career.
