NHS Guide for Veterans
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the creation of an extensive new online NHS guide, Health rights for veterans, which provides information for all former armed forces' personnel, both reserve and regular, about veterans' health rights, guidance on priority treatment for service-related conditions, physical and mental health resources and welfare and financial support; appreciates that the NHS works to ensure equality of access to its services for veterans; recognises the value of this guide in helping to remove any the barriers that veterans might face when seeking the help and support to which they are entitled, and notes that it can be found at nhsinform.scot/care-support-and-rights/health-rights/access/health-rights-for-veterans.
