ENABLE Scotland Kiltwalk 2019
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates ENABLE Scotland on its Kiltwalk on 28 April 2019, which saw a record 13,000 walkers take part and raise over £2.5 million for charities across Scotland; recognises and appreciates the generous contribution of Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation in adding an additional 40% to all funds raised, resulting in an overall total of £3.5 million; wholeheartedly supports and appreciates the efforts of ENABLE Scotland in working for an equal society for people with learning disabilities, and wishes the charity a happy 65th anniversary.
