Aberdeen's Running Festival Attracts Thousands of Competitors
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the organisers and volunteers who put together the 2019 BHGE 10k run in Aberdeen; recognises that this annual festival attracts thousands of runners of all levels; welcomes race accessibility for wheelchair users and visually-impaired runners; commends the competitors for raising tens of thousands of pounds for local charities, including The Archie Foundation, ABSAFE, Friends of Anchor, Charlie House, Inspire, Cash for Kids, Aberdeen Cyrenians, Children 1st, CLAN and Befriend a Child, and encourages all involved to continue their excellent work in making this a first-class event for years to come.
