New Mobility Shop Opens in Livingston
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the new Mobility Shop in The Centre, Livingston, which has been revamped and modernised and will be open to the public seven days a week from 10am until 5pm; notes that the equipment available includes mobile electric scooters, electric power chairs and manual wheelchairs, and that children’s buggies will also be available to hire; understands that the new equipment can be hired for a small donation that will be reinvested in the service; notes that other features within The Centre include a wheelchair accessible photo booth, designed to support people with a range of disabilities, and a Changing Places Toilet, and welcomes the efforts of The Centre’s management to provide a fully inclusive shopping environment and an enjoyable experience for everyone.
