West Dunbartonshire Council Housing Team
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the housing team of West Dunbartonshire Council on being awarded the Tenant Participation Advisory Service Scotland (TPAS) gold accreditation, which is the highest rating available for local authorities; acknowledges that the housing team's Involving You strategy, which was launched in 2017, was credited by TPAS as a useful reference tool for tenants; notes that TPAS also highlighted the housing team's regular liaison meetings with the West Dunbartonshire Tenants and Residents Organisation and the Pre-Housing and Communities Committee Forum as an example of willingness to engage with tenants in order to increase their ability to influence decision making, and welcomes this recognition of the effort and dedication of the housing team staff and community volunteers.
