Fife Employment Access Trust Celebrates 25 Years
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Fife Employment Access Trust, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary; congratulates it on winning a Centre for Social Justice Employment Award in March 2019 and being presented with a £10,000 grant before an audience of politicians, journalists and philanthropists at a ceremony in London, which helped promote its vital work; understands that the trust was launched out of concern regarding a lack of employment opportunities for people in Fife with mental health difficulties and has worked hard over the years in supporting them in finding and keeping jobs and helping them to manage their conditions long-term; notes that it also liaises with employers across the business community to help assist in the transition to work period; welcomes the valued contribution that it provides, and wishes everyone involved with the trust continued success.
