Glenrothes Pupils Taught Road Safety at Drivewise
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the initiative, Drivesafe, which is funded by Fife Council's safer communities department and supported by John Clark Specialist Motors; notes that the initiative saw 120 secondary school pupils in Glenrothes learn basic driving techniques, further complemented by workshops that were aimed at instilling a sense of responsible behaviour when driving or being a passenger; further notes that the event was delivered in partnership with Police Scotland, Scottish Fife and Rescue Service and Scottish Ambulance Service, and wishes everyone involved with Drivesafe continued success with future events aimed at teaching young people the importance of road safety.
