Best Start Grant in West Dunbartonshire
The motion
That the Parliament understands that 1,540 families in West Dunbartonshire received payments for their children as part of Social Security Scotland's Best Start Grant scheme; notes that payments of £600 were paid to eligible parents on the birth of a first child and £300 on the birth of a sibling, and welcomes this support for low-income families in West Dunbartonshire and across Scotland.
