Balbirnie House Hotel Wins Award for Historic 13th Time
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Balbirnie House Hotel in Markinch on winning Wedding Hotel of the Year at the Scottish Hotel Awards for the 13th time in 15 years, alongside two other awards with the Balbirnie Weddings Department being named the top wedding team, and the head gardener, Duncan Hogg, being named the best maintenance and grounds person; considers that winning the Wedding Hotel of the Year is yet another incredible achievement for the hotel, which enjoyed success at the globally recognised Haute Grandeur Awards in October 2018 by being named Global Wedding Retreat of the Year at the Dubai ceremony, and wishes Balbirnie House Hotel continued success for the future.
