Sneaky Pete’s Wins Grassroots Venue: Spirit of the Scene Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Edinburgh music venue, Sneaky Pete’s, on winning the Grassroots Venue: Spirit of the Scene award at the recent Music Week Awards 2019, which were held in London; recognises that the award, which has been created in collaboration with the Music Venue Trust, aims to recognise the vital contribution that grassroots venues make to the music industry; notes that venues must have a capacity of under 500 in order to qualify; understands that Sneaky Pete’s beat other nominees from around the UK to win the award, and commends the venue's team on its success.
