St Mary's Primary School Wins Euroquiz
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the team from St Mary’s Primary School in Duntocher on winning the national final of the Euroquiz, which took place in the Parliament Chamber on 13 May 2019; notes that this is an annual project, which is organised by the Scottish European Educational Trust and is open to all P6 pupils across Scotland; acknowledges that it covers many aspects of European life, including languages, history, geography, culture and European affairs; understands that St Mary’s also won the 2018 competition, and commends the pupils and their teacher on their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm.
