Penicuik Silver Band Promotion
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Penicuik Silver Band on being promoted to the third section of the Scottish Brass Band Association national league; understands that the band, which is the oldest continuously-running brass band in Midlothian, was promoted to the third section following the Scottish national championships in Perth; notes that this is the first time that the band has been in the third section for 33 years; acknowledges the hard work and dedication that has contributed to this promotion, and wishes the band members all the best for the future.
