ZedScan Device Donated to Ninewells Hospital
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the donation of a ZedScan device to Ninewells Hospital by the former Scotland international footballer, Willie Henderson; understands that the device helps detect cervical abnormalities that occur before the development of cervical cancer; notes that it was donated by Willie on behalf of the Michelle Henderson Cervical Cancer Trust, which he set up in memory of his late daughter; recognises the importance of diagnosing cancer early in order to save lives, and thanks Willie and the trust for this generous contribution.
