V&A Helps Dundee Tourism Success
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the V&A Dundee’s record tourism numbers for 2019; understands that tourism contributed £187 million to the Dundee economy in 2018, which is an increase of £16 million compared with 2017; notes that, consequently, the Dundee Tourism Strategy target for 2020 has been exceeded; considers that this milestone is testament to how Dundee has been put firmly on the tourist map, and congratulates everyone involved.
