Bearsden Academy Debating Team
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Bearsden Academy debating team on reaching the final of the Law Society of Scotland’s Donald Dewar Memorial Debate, which will be held in the Parliament Chamber on 6 June 2019; notes that 128 teams from schools across Scotland took part in the heats of the event, which is now in its 20th year; recognises the invaluable life skills learned through debate, and wishes all participants a successful and enjoyable event.
