Golden Eagle Champions
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that Cubs from the Scottish Borders Innerleithen Scout Group have become the first ever Golden Eagle Champions; understands that the Cubs worked with the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project to learn more about conservation efforts in the region, including the introduction of three chicks to a secret location in the Southern Uplands, and that the Cubs have received a new scouting badge for their efforts; notes that the Cubs were commended by the naturalist and television presenter, Steve Backshall, for their commitment to golden eagle conservation, and wishes both the Scout Group and the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project all the best for the future.
