Orkney Inter School Netball Festival

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkwall Grammar School on hosting an inter school netball festival for secondary schools across Orkney; notes that 76 students from four schools took part in the competition across the day; thanks Miss Leslie, staff at Kirkwall Grammar School and Active Schools Orkney for organising the event and inviting other participants, and to the young leaders who helped to umpire the matches; recognises the huge importance of inter school sport in developing many valuable skills for pupils, contributing to an active and healthy lifestyle and creating social and fun environments for young people to take part in, and hopes that there will be more inter school festivals being organised in Orkney in the near future.
