Eibhlin Lee from Orkney, Achiever Award Winner at Green Energy Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Eibhlin Lee, of Orkney Islands Council, on winning the Achiever Award at the Scottish Renewables Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2019 in Glasgow on 30 May; understands that the award recognises those who have achieved a promotion or have shown outstanding personal development and growth in their current role; notes that Eibhlin is part of the Strategic Projects Team at the council, which is tasked with working on proposals for community wind farm projects; understands that the awards recognise and celebrate the hard work and talent of young people who are making a difference in the renewable energy sector in Scotland; acknowledges also the achievement of Orkney’s Catrin Sutherland, Ryan Doull and Craig Stout who were also shortlisted for awards; congratulates all of the winners and nominees on the contribution they are making to a vital sector of Scotland’s economy, and wishes them continued success.
