Shetland Retains Junior Inter-county Title

That the Parliament congratulates the Shetland team on winning the junior inter-county competition 2019; notes that Shetland lifted the Stuart Cup ahead of Orkney with a 173-124 win; understands that Seumas Mackay and Hannah Robertson ably captained Shetland to victories in swimming, hockey, athletics and football, and through a tough encounter against a winning Orkney netball team; recognises the talent and effort of the participants from across the Northern Isles and the hard work of the coaches and organisers who make the annual event such a success, and looks forward to training beginning in earnest ahead of next year’s clash.
