Morningside Care Home Makes Survival Kits for Homeless People
The motion
That the Parliament commends the residents and staff of Morningside Care Home for making 50 survival kits for homeless people; notes that the residents made up packs that included thermal hats and gloves, scarves and snoods, as well as sanitary products and toiletries; further notes that residents and staff of the care home travelled to Glasgow to meet volunteers from Help for the Homeless (H4TH) and to hand over the packages to be distributed; understands that H4TH is a voluntary non-profit community group that supports members of the community experiencing severe poverty and homelessness, and wishes both the care home and H4TH all the very best in all future endeavours.
