Abseilers in Dundee Raise Money for Marie Curie
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all those who took part in an abseil down the University of Dundee tower building to raise money for Marie Curie; understands that 63 people took part in the challenge down the 140ft-tall building; acknowledges that this is the ninth year that the charity has held the fundraiser, and that it has managed to raise more than £100,000 for Marie Curie Scotland, which pays for more than 5,000 hours of nursing care, and thanks all those involved for their fundraising efforts.
