Rural Entrepreneurs
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the forthcoming international event for female entrepreneurs from sparsely populated areas that is being hosted by Highlands and Islands Enterprise as part of its Northern Periphery and Arctic programme; notes that delegates will attend from rural parts of Iceland, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Canada as well as Scotland, and welcomes the focus of the event to grow the contribution of female entrepreneurs to the rural economy.
