Suicide Prevention Training for West Dunbartonshire Football Teams
The motion
That the Parliament commends the initiative to provide suicide prevention training to football clubs in West Dunbartonshire, including junior, youth and women’s teams; understands with concern that two people die every day in Scotland as a result of suicide; recognises the need to work across sectors and organisations to support people in distress, and welcomes this resource as part of the Scottish Government’s effort to reduce the number of lives lost to suicide.
