Aberdeenshire's Award-winning Beaches
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that eight Aberdeenshire beaches have achieved Scottish Beach Award status by Keep Scotland Beautiful; notes that the award-winning beaches are Balmedie, Collieston, Cruden Bay, Fraserburgh Tigerhill, Fraserburgh Waters of Philorth, Inverboyndie, Peterhead Lido and Stonehaven; recognises that these Aberdeenshire beaches have met a range of criteria, including beach safety, ease of access and cleanliness, and congratulates the many local volunteers who organise beach clean events, and everyone who takes pride in keeping Aberdeenshire a beautiful place in which to live and to visit.
