Milngavie Week 2019
The motion
That the Parliament commends the 200 volunteers who lend their time and services to make Milngavie Week a success; understands that 2019’s annual festival will kick off with the Highland Games on 8 June, followed by numerous events throughout the week, including cat and dogs shows, treasure hunts, football matches, school debating and photography competitions, culminating in the traditional plastic duck race on 15 June with a gin and strawberry afternoon tea to finish the festival on 16 June, and wishes all volunteers and visitors to the festival a successful and enjoyable event.
