West Lothian Named the Greenest in the UK
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian on being named the greenest and most environmentally-friendly place in the UK; understands that this accolade was awarded as a result of West Lothian citizens recycling 61% of all waste and 43% of households having a smart meter; notes that West Lothian Council was gifted a commemorative plaque, in addition to flowering plants, as a token of the gratitude that Smart Energy GB has for the residents of West Lothian in their efforts to create a sustainable, greener future.
