Leith Festival 2019
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the Leith Festival 2019, which takes place from 8 to 16 June; understands that the festival is one of the oldest festivals in Edinburgh, having started in 1907; notes that its organisers aim to make the arts accessible to all; further notes that there are 66 events taking place, 50 of which are free to attend, including markets, exhibitions and film screenings; applauds all of those involved in the festival, and wishes them every success.
