Dyce Success at ScotRail Community Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dyce in Bloom and Dyce Gardening Club on winning the Adopt a Station of the Year award at the first ScotRail Community Awards; understands that volunteers have sought to involve the wider community in their efforts to improve the station environment; notes that this includes nursery children assisting with biodiversity planting, the installation of redundant planters donated by Aberdeen City Council, engaging with the local Men's Shed, and pupils from Dyce Academy designing art deco posters, which will be installed at the station later in 2019; commends the dedication of community volunteers to develop a welcoming station for the village, and wishes them continued success in their endeavours.
