Lisamaria Purdie, Headteacher of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Lisamaria Purdie, of St Ninian’s Primary School in Livingston, on winning the Headteacher of the Year category at the Scottish Education Awards 2019, which were presented in Glasgow on 5 June; understands that these awards, which were launched in 2001, celebrate hard work and success across Scottish education; recognises that this is a hugely deserved award for Lisamaria; applauds her efforts, and those of the entire school staff, in creating a positive and caring environment for the pupils, and wishes Lisamaria and the school all the best.
