Best Borders Business, La Beaute
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Galashiels-based beauticians, La Beaute, on winning the Best Borders Business award at Scotlands Business Awards, which were held at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow; understands that La Beaute was founded 13 years ago by Angie Shillinglaw, who works alongside beauty therapist, Sarah Hamilton, and that the pair have over 25 years of beauty therapy experience between them; notes that the business achieved its success through a combination of customer votes and glowing secret shopper reports, and wishes both Angie and Sarah all the best for the future.
