Meaningful May Events in Moray
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work of Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Moray in organising Meaningful May, which was a range of events for school pupils that focused on building employability; notes that it offered two-week work placements at times where the pupils did not have classes or examinations; acknowledges that DYW Moray worked with Elgin Museum, Johnstons of Elgin, Moray Leisure Centre and NHS Grampian to secure work place visits, and congratulates the organisers of the initiative on building positive engagement between schools and employers.
