Grant Awarded to The Gate in Alloa
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Gate, which is based in Alloa, on receiving funding from the Movement for Good Awards, which have been set up by the insurer, Ecclesiastical, and provide £1,000 grants to good causes that have been nominated by the public; understands that The Gate, which operates projects that aim to help improve the conditions of life for people who are marginalised, facing social exclusion, vulnerable or homeless, received overwhelming public support, and commends everyone at the charity for the excellent work that they do across Clackmannanshire.
