Kilmarnock Station Railway Heritage Trust Receives National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Kilmarnock Station Railway Heritage Trust on receiving a grant of £60,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland; understands that the group plans to use the funds to provide intensive support for around 60 people who are experiencing loneliness and isolation; notes that this support will take a person-centred approach tailored to suit individual needs, with a range of group sessions and physical activities; recognises the importance of physical activity and inclusion to good mental health; welcomes Kilmarnock Station Railway Heritage Trust’s commitment to addressing these issues, and wishes everyone involved success with the project.
