Inverurie Bakers Win Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Inverurie bakers, JG Ross and the Bread Guys Bakery, for taking home a clutch of prizes at the Scottish Baker of the Year competition; notes that JG Ross won special gold for its buttery among strong competition for this popular Aberdeenshire speciality, and that the Bread Guys Bakery was a finalist in the hotly-contested wholesale baker of the year category, and recognises that the north east has a well-established reputation for quality produce that is enjoyed worldwide.
