Dunoon Grammar Nominated as Europe’s Most Enterprising School

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that Dunoon Grammar Scotland has been nominated by Young Enterprise Scotland in the category, Europe’s Most Enterprising School, at the 2019 European Entrepreneurial School Awards; notes that the two-day event in Helsinki will see schools judged on how they involve staff and pupils on entrepreneurial initiatives, the priority that they give to enterprise in their strategic plans, and the extent to which they include the community and business sector with their entrepreneurial activity; recognises the hard work of its head teacher, David Mitchell, and the staff and pupils; believes that they are responsible for helping to put Dunoon on the global entrepreneurial map, and wishes the school the best of luck representing Scotland at the finals and in its other endeavours.
