Launch of consumeradvice.scot
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of the online and telephone service, consumeradvice.scot, following the receipt of £600,000 in Scottish Government funding; recognises that it aims to offer advice to people on a range of important issues, using its knowledge of devolved consumer powers to provide a flexible service that protects and empowers people; acknowledges that support can be accessed online through web chat, email and social media, and through the freephone number, 0808 164 6000, and congratulates all of the staff at the Glasgow-based charity, Advice Direct Scotland, on delivering this service.
